At the heart of TIPS are 31 substantive committees that produce nationally recognized continuing legal education programs and publications, and engage in thought leadership in its areas of practice.

Mr. Cohen has been a member of TIPS since 1989, and is a past chair of its Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee, Self Insurers and Risk Managers Committee, and Products, General Liability & Consumer Law Committee.  He has been co-chair of national programs, and co-chair of the nationally acclaimed Transportation Megaconference program, held in New Orleans biennially since 1993.
