Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr. Quoted in NJLJ Article on Midsized Law Firms

7/17/2014 | News

Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr., President Pro Tem and Co-Chair of the Litigation Group of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. ("Porzio"), was quoted in an article publshed by the New Jersey Law Journal on its website on July 17, 2014.  The article is focused on the benefits that midsized New Jersey law firms have gained through post-recession opportunities.

Gagliardi states "We've all read about clients looking for value.  ...I think that has worked to our advantage.  Not every legal matter calls for the most expensive lawyers in the area.  When I talk about value, I'm talking about a reasonable balance between price and learned experience.

Gagliardi notes that cost demands in recent years have helped Porzio double the headcount and space at its Manhattan office.  He further notes that attitudes about New Jersey-based firms have changed, and clients are more open to hiring them.  "The rates are much more competitive.  ...It's been a very good evolution for us."
