Porzio Food Drive Benefits Morris County Food Pantries

8/31/2015

The Porzio Administrative Services Committee spearheaded a food drive to benefit the Interfaith Pantry and the First Reformed Church Food Pantry of Morris County.

Each week, the Interfaith Food Pantry supplies over 15,000 pounds of food to 325 low-income working families, unemployed workers, people with disabilities and senior citizens on fixed incomes.  They also deliver to homebound clients.

In 2014, the First Reformed Church Food Pantry distributed groceries to approximately 1,800 families, totaling over 31 tons of food.

Collections were made in Porzio's Morristown office through August 31st, including both food and monetary donations.  Porzio is proud to contribute in part to these organizations that make a positive impact in our community.
