Of Counsel Robert Ferri is Named Porzio's First General Counsel

Porzio Of Counsel Robert (Bob) Ferri has been named the firm's first General Counsel. As the firm continues to grow in both clients and services, the need for a formal General Counsel role has become more apparent. Mr. Ferri has been, and continues to serve as, general counsel to Porzio Life Sciences, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the firm. He also serves as co-chair of Porzio's Corporate, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions department. 

Before joining Porzio, Mr. Ferri served as general counsel to ASARCO, once a Fortune 100 company. He has extensive experience in general corporate law, corporate transactions, securities law and litigation, corporate governance, antitrust counseling, investigations and compliance. He has counseled and performed investigations for corporate boards and special committees regarding various compliance-related matters.

Mr. Ferri has handled the corporate affairs of the firm for several years. Porzio is proud to benefit from his continued guidance and counsel.
