Porzio Client Mika Zibanejad Signs $26 million Deal with New York Rangers

Porzio client and NHL player Mika Zibanejad recently signed a 5-year, $26.75 million contract with the New York Rangers. The deal was negotiated by NHL agent Monir Kalgoum and was featured in the ESPN.com article, "Rangers sign Mika Zibanejad to 5-year, $26.75 million deal," on July 25, 2017.

Following the trade of teammate Derek Stepan, Zibanejad will start the season as the Rangers' new No. 1 center. Stated Zibanejad, "It's something I'm working really hard to making sure I'm taking advantage of the chance I'm getting." 

Both Zibanejad and Kalgoum are represented by Porzio of counsel William F. Fitzgerald.
