Diane McKay to Chair ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law Professional Issues Division

Porzio congratulates principal Diane Dunn McKay on her appointment as Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA-IPL) Professional Issues Division for the 2017-2018 association year.

Ms. McKay's practice involves U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, licensing and litigation related to computer software and hardware, e-commerce, Internet applications, and mechanical and chemical process inventions. She also provides counseling concerning the protection of software-related intellectual property and software rights, and the drafting of software-related agreements. Her clients include a variety of industries related to consumer products, medical devices, computer-related technologies and nano-technology.

The ABA-IPL is the largest organization of intellectual property lawyers in the world. The section's committees serve as forums for intellectual property lawyers nationwide to develop relationships and benefit from each other's experience.
