Porzio Governmental Affairs, LLC is Porzio's lobbying subsidiary. Our team has a significant amount of experience in providing lobbying and business counseling services to members of the life sciences industry. One of our Executive Vice Presidents, before joining our team, was a representative on the national healthcare trade associations of the Health Insurance Association of America, American Association of Health Plans and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. He also served as the Vice President of External Affairs and Corporate Communications for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.
Porzio Governmental Affairs uses its extensive network of contacts at the federal and State level to help its clients anticipate, manage, and shape legislative and regulatory changes and developments. We represent a trade association in New Jersey devoted to the advancement of public policy that would benefit the health care sectors. We also represent a global biotherapeutic and biotechnology company and handle its general lobbying and business development strategies in New Jersey. We also represent a number of health care professional associations. Additionally, Porzio Governmental Affairs has developed a database that compiles, summarizes, and analyzes pay-to-play laws in New Jersey at the State, county, and municipal level so that companies that depend upon government contracts can understand and comply with the multitude of laws that govern political contributions in New Jersey.
