Support Specialist


Provide technical customer service to our community of attorneys and personnel. This position requires solid understanding of general technology, with specific focus on legal-specific applications. Patience and a calm demeanor are essential traits. Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. 


1. Answer phone calls, emails and direct "walk-in" inquiries
2. Enter all queries into a tracking system/knowledge base
3. Resolve software issues using remote access software
4. Repair or replace failed hardware
5. Facilitate equipment moves (intra-office)
6. Manage fleet of technical equipment for loan (MiFis, laptops, etc.)
7. Setup and manage video conferences
8. Engagement in firm-wide technical projects
9. Act as primary administrator for cloud-based applications (as assigned)


1. Performance of other work-related duties as assigned


1. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
2. Ability to use office equipment, such as copier, calculator, fax machine, multi-extension telephone and computer
3. Flexibility in daily schedule to meet firm's needs during periods of heavy workload
4. A valid driver's license or ability to transport oneself to off-site locations independently of mass transit, if necessary
5. High School education or equivalent
6. 5 years in end-user support
7. 3 years in legal technology
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office
9. Proficient in Document Management (eDocs preferred)
10. Proficient in Time Entry (Carpe Diem preferred)
11. Aware of Mobile Device Management (VoxMobile Airwatch preferred)
12. Proficient in managing audio and video conferencing systems
13. Aware of Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp
14. Application Installation and upgrades – comfort level
15. Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
16. Solid job history with few or well-explained employment gaps
17. Strong sense of team; willingness to share information and pitch in, even with tasks that do not fall within normal job function
18. May require some lifting (generally 25 pounds or less)
