Michael Mirone is a member of Porzio's Wealth Preservation department and has over 20 years of extensive experience in the areas of Trusts and Estates and Tax law. Michael is a trusted counselor to his clients and financial advisors with the proven ability to translate sophisticated legal strategies into relatable concepts.

He handles all aspects of wealth preservation including establishing succession planning strategies for business owners, counseling high-net-worth individuals on legal approaches for estate, gift, and income tax planning and related tax returns, drafting wills and trusts as well as managing estate and trust matters. Michael collaborates with his clients providing evaluation, design, and due diligence on comprehensive estate and wealth transfer planning, trust design and implementation, asset protection strategies, and philanthropy.

He has successfully negotiated and drafted shareholder, operating, and employment agreements, and other vital contracts and documents for business owners. With his over 14 years of in-house wealth preservation and planning experience, Michael serves as a tactical business partner to financial advisors and guides them in the development of overall planning strategies and the development of roadmaps and action plans.
