Porzio Principals were Speakers at 5th Annual Global Pharmaceutical and Medical Meetings Summit

Porzio principals John P. Oroho and Brian P. Sharkey were speakers at the 5th Annual Global Pharmaceutical and Medical Meetings Summit. The session, "The Intersection of Global Meetings and Global Transparency," took place on February 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Philadelphia, PA.

Organizing meetings and congresses outside the United States with attendees from around the world is a complex undertaking, and understanding the various international laws and codes can be challenging. In this session, the speakers focused on the intersection of global meetings and global transparency reporting requirements, as the Sunshine movement that began in the United States spreads to more parts of the world. The speakers addressed, among other things, best practices for those involved in planning, organizing, and attending global meeting to understand the global transparency reporting requirements, capture the relevant information appropriately, and report the data correctly.
