Porzio Welcomes Stephanie Garfield to the Life Sciences Department

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman proudly welcomes Stephanie M. Garfield to the firm as an associate in the Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Department. She is also a Compliance Associate with the firm’s subsidiary, Porzio Life Sciences, LLC (PorzioLS).

Stephanie counsels pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies on a variety of compliance-related issues, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, FDA promotional regulations, transparency and aggregate spend, industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, and sampling requirements. As a Compliance Associate with PorzioLS, Stephanie also assists in the creation, development and implementation of the subsidiary’s products and services. 

Prior to joining Porzio Stephanie was the Ethics & Compliance Officer with Fresenius Medical Care North America's pharmacy and clinical research business units, where she developed, implemented and maintained the company's compliance program.

Stephanie earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she was the Note Editor of the International & Comparative Law Review. She is based in the firm's New England office.
