Ribbon Cutting for Porzio's Client PAHC New Affordable Housing Units

8/09/2019

The Passaic Affordable Housing Coalition (PAHC), a non-profit development corporation, and the City of Passaic completed the construction of three affordable housing units at 79 Van Winkle Avenue. The units complement the existing two rehabilitated and occupied affordable housing at 73 Van Winkle Avenue. The Van Winkle Homes project was funded through a public-private partnership combining U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HOME program funds and a construction loan from Lakeland Bank. The five units are rent-controlled and open to low- and moderate-income residents, veterans and families of the City of Passaic.

Sal Anderton, real estate attorney for Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, served as counsel to the PAHC in all aspects related to the development, including acquisition, approvals, financing and compliance.
