Business Development & Marketing Specialist


Porzio is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Business Development & Marketing Specialist to work with the Business Development & Marketing Team to coordinate and project manage new business opportunities and logistics related to sponsorships and trade shows.

Proposal and RFP Coordination
In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the proposal development process including:

  • RFP / Pitch / Proposal review
  • Work plan development
  • Project and deadline tracking
  • Internal communications
  • Document set up, production, and editing
  • Internal communication and meeting coordination
  • Approval tracking
  • Other duties and tasks as needed

In this position, successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects on varying deadlines, organize and maintain approved content, and ensure that the final deliverable is submitted on time.

Sponsorship / Trade Show Coordination
Assist team members with the coordination and project management of logistics related to trade shows and sponsorships including:

  • Tracking event details
  • Coordinating internal communications and meetings around specific events
  • Managing association and venue relationships
  • Coordinating sponsorship benefits
  • Coordinating technology , A/V needs, and other booth related needs
  • Coordinating and shipping event materials and giveaways
  • Tracking and managing booth schedules and other related information
  • Other duties and tasks as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years’ project/production experience to include management of pitches & proposals, trade shows or other similar marketing tactics in a professional services environment
  • Database experience and knowledge presentation software
  • Strong client service orientation, exceptional time management skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills including internal communications
  • Strong proof reading skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
