Christopher S. Casieri is Of Counsel to Porzio, Bromberg & Newman and a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Christopher has over 11 years of patent law experience in litigation, opinions and prosecution. He has represented clients from the smallest start-ups to the largest multinational corporations.
Christopher focuses his practice on infringement, validity, freedom to operate and API clearance advice. He has extensive experience in evaluating and responding to infringement allegations, as well as providing design-around advice and risk assessment. He also drafts and negotiates license, purchase and settlement agreements.
Christopher's practice encompasses natural products, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, mechanical devices and instrumentation. Prior to his legal career, Christopher was a pharmaceutical chemist, holding both bachelor and masters degrees in chemistry.
