18th Annual Miles for Matheny Event and Porzio Kids' Fun Run

Porzio is proud to once again support and participate in the 18th Annual Miles for Matheny fundraising event.  A full day of events includes live music, cycling activities of varying distances and challenges, a fitness walk and the Porzio-sponsored Kids’ Fun Run, and culminates with an inspiring wheelchair walk through the center of Peapack.

Matheny Medical and Educational Center in Peapack is New Jersey's only fully licensed special hospital and school for severely developmentally and physically disabled children and adults.  This remarkable facility serves thousands of disabled residents, patients and students throughout NJ and beyond, and is on the cutting edge with respect to research concerning various developmental disabilities.

Created in 1998, this community event has grown from a small wheelchair walk and cycling ride throughout town into an event that attracts over 1,500 participants and volunteers. It is, in the words of Matheny President Steve Proctor, "as much a community event as it is a fundraiser."
