Porzio Counsel Pete Gallagher Presented the NYLMA Seminar "Navigating the Ethical Minefield of Promoting Attorney Awards"

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. (Porzio) and the Legal Marketing Association Metro New York Chapter (NYLMA) co-hosted the seminar "Navigating the Ethical Minefield of Promoting Attorney Awards," presented by Porzio Counsel Peter J. Gallagher, on August 16, 2016, 12:00 pm at the firm's Morristown, New Jersey office. Mr. Gallagher discussed New Jersey attorney advertising laws, particularly how they pertain to Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, current ethical guidelines for attorney awards, and the New Jersey Supreme Court's notice to the Bar regarding Super Lawyers. 

Pete Gallagher is an accomplished litigator. As a generalist, he has enjoyed a wide-ranging practice requiring flexibility to respond to the ever-changing needs of clients faced with business disputes in divergent fields including real estate, telecommunications, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare.

An avid writer, Mr. Gallagher has authored articles for publications ranging from the New Jersey Law Journal to journals at the Georgetown University Law Center and the Seton Hall University Law School. He is also the editor and blogger of Pete's Take
