Sal Anderton will be a guest on a segment of NBC10 @ ISSUE, a WCAU-TV weekly public affairs program, scheduled to air on September 22, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. The program will focus on end-of-life concerns and a pending assisted suicide case.
Mr. Anderton is Of Counsel to Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. ("Porzio") and also serves as Legislative Director with Porzio Governmental Affairs ("PGA"), the lobbying subsidiary of Porzio.
In his role as a consultant to PGA client Compassion and Choices, Mr. Anderton will be interviewed by host Steve Highsmith about the end-of-life concerns raised in the pending Pennsylvania case of Barbara Mancini and her late father. Mrs. Mancini is being prosecuted under the Pennsylvania assisted suicide laws for handing her 93 year old terminally ill father a bottle of morphine prescribed by his hospice physicians, which he then drank, resulting in his death 4 days later.
