Porzio Principal Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr. Speaks to the Continued Battle Over Manchester Regional High School Funding

10/02/2015

The Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey heard arguments from the boroughs of North Haledon, Prospect Park and Haledon over how to equitably fund Manchester Regional High School.

All three boroughs wish to overturn a 2013 state decision which established a funding formula based 50-50 on the number of students sent to Manchester by each borough and the boroughs' property values.

Porzio principal Vito A. Gagliardi, attorney for North Haledon, is confident about the outcome.  “I'm certain the formula will never revert back to the 100 percent equalized property value.”
