Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr. Quoted Regarding Potential Litigation Over Englewood and Englewood Cliffs Send-Receive Arrangement

Porzio principal Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr. was quoted in the NorthJersey.com article, "Englewood school board votes in favor of legal battle with Englewood Cliffs," by Matthew McGrath. 

The article focuses on the Englewood Board of Education's decision to grant permission to prepare a preliminary court case against Englewood Cliffs schools, should Englewood Cliffs attempt to sever the send-receive relationship between the two districts. 

Representing Englewood Cliffs as their appointed advisor, Mr. Gagliardi notes that no decision has been made yet regarding the send-receive agreement. He spoke at the recent school board meeting, stating, “The [Englewood school board] resolution reads as if there is a decision. A decision hasn’t been made, and that’s why there’s a study being done.”
