Porzio Welcomes Back Christopher P. DePhillips

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. (Porzio) is pleased to welcome back to the firm Christopher P. DePhillips. Effective November 1, 2016, Mr. DePhillips rejoins Porzio as Of Counsel, and as Deputy General Counsel and Director of Compliance to Porzio Life Sciences, LLC (PorzioLS).

Mr. DePhillips originally launched his legal practice at Porzio, serving as a pivotal member of the Litigation Department from 1992 to 2013. He continues to practice in the areas of product liability, asbestos litigation, toxic tort, pharmaceutical liability, and general liability defense. 

Mr. DePhillips has represented his litigation clients in both national counsel and local counsel capacities. He has national counsel experience in asbestos, product liability, and environmental matters. As local counsel in New Jersey and New York, he has attracted clients from all over the country. His clientele is varied and wide-ranging, which is a testament to his trial experience and the strategic thinking he brings to his cases. He is a leader in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), an invitation-only defense organization.

In addition to the renewal of his Porzio-based litigation practice, Mr. DePhillips also joins the Executive Team of PorzioLS.  PorzioLS provides compliance tools, such as Porzio Compliance Digest (PCD), Porzio GST and Porzio AggregateSpendID, that enable companies to comply with global, federal and state marketing and sales regulations.  Together, Porzio and PorzioLS provide regulatory compliance, legal and business services related to pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech companies at every stage of development.
