Porzio Bromberg & Newman Receives "Law Firm of the Year" Award by SABA-NJ
Porzio is excited to announce that the firm has been selected as Law Firm of the Year by the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey ("SABA-NJ").
The firm received this award at SABA-NJ's 7th Annual Gala on October 1st, for its longstanding advocacy of diversity and inclusion, and its unwavering support of the organization and its members through various sponsorships and programs over the past five years. Porzio has hired and retained several South Asian attorneys and staff through its close ties with the organization.
Porzio Counsel Rahil Darbar has been a member of SABA-NJ since 2010, and most recently served as President in 2020. He is currently on the executive board as the Immediate Past President.
In response to this honor, Rahil said, "Over the last decade I have seen all of the incredible work this organization has done and the exponential growth of its membership. SABA-NJ remains the fastest growing affinity bar group in New Jersey. From providing access and resources to the South Asian community to the advancement and professional development of our lawyer members, SABA-NJ has undoubtedly made a difference in the community and I could not be prouder to work for a firm that supports our efforts and shares in the same goals."
Porzio's Managing Principal, Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr., echoed the same thoughts, "Porzio is honored to receive this award and recognition. SABA-NJ is a vital part of the legal community and we believe in its mission and work. We look forward to more opportunities where we can support its initiatives." Mr. Gagliardi accepted the award on behalf of the firm at the gala on October 1st.
