Overview
Michael Medved is a highly skilled attorney with experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, and commercial litigation. With a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions, he represents commercial clients navigate complex financial disputes in Chapter 11 restructurings, as well as in foreclosure proceedings in state court.
Michael is experienced in managing cross-border insolvency cases. He has represented indenture trustees in U.S. bankruptcies and liquidation proceedings in jurisdictions such as Brazil, Bermuda, the UK, the Bahamas, and Sri Lanka, focusing on bondholder workouts and International Monetary Fund (IMF) facilities.
In addition to representing major creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings, Michael is skilled in overseeing asset sales as a stalking horse purchaser. He routinely drafts and argues motions in bankruptcy courts nationwide and has successfully resolved adversary proceedings through strategic negotiations.
With experience in fraudulent transfer and avoidance litigation, Michael provides clients with effective legal strategies that address complex financial challenges, consistently delivering optimal outcomes through thoughtful, results-oriented representation.
