Porzio, Bromberg & Newman Achieves Midsize Mansfield Certification

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman proudly announces that it has achieved Midsize Mansfield Certification. Porzio is one of 240 firms in the 2022-2023 cohort throughout the U.S. and Canada to have completed a rigorous collaboration with Diversity Lab to track, measure, and achieve diversity in leadership.

Building on the success of the original Mansfield Rule for larger law firms, the Midsize Mansfield Certification was tailored and launched for firms with fewer than 150 lawyers. In achieving certification, Porzio has affirmatively considered at least 30% women lawyers, underrepresented racial and ethnic lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitches, lateral lawyer hiring, and more. The goal of the Mansfield Rule is to boost the representation of diverse lawyers in law firm leadership by broadening the pool of candidates considered for these roles and opportunities.
