Porzio Welcomes Summer Associates Sameer Prasla and Michael Leon

Porzio welcomes summer associates Sameer Prasla and Michael Leon to the Morristown Office.  Both Sameer and Michael are Rutgers Law School – Newark students and members of the Minority Student Program.

Sameer is entering his final year at Rutgers, where he is an Associate Editor of the Computer and Technology Law Journal, Student Liaison for the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey, a member of the Minority Student Program, and a member of the Rutgers Society for Corporate Law and Governance.  Last semester Sameer completed an internship with the Honorable Joan Bedrin Murray, J.T.C, Tax Court of New Jersey.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.  Sameer is assigned to the Wealth Preservation team.

Michael is entering his second year at Rutgers, where he is a member of the Association of Latin-American Law Students and is a Student Ambassador for the Minority Student Program.  Prior to law school, Michael was a paralegal at Youman, Madeo & Fasano LLP and Weitz & Luxenberg.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.  Michael is assigned to the Litigation team.
