Porzio, Bromberg & Newman proudly announces Maria F. Galante's election to the Board of Directors of the New York Women’s Bar Association (NYWBA), effective June 2024.  She will also serve as a delegate of the Manhattan association to the statewide Women’s Bar Association of New York (WBASNY).

Ms. Galante, a Co-Chair of the Elder Law and Disability Section, brings extensive experience in guardianship and Elder Law matters, Trust and Estates, Estate Planning, Asset Protection, and Estate Litigation.

Ms. Galante's proficiency aligns with the NYWBA's mission to advance women in law, ensuring fair justice administration and professional development. Through affiliations with the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), the NYWBA actively engages in legal education, committee work, and advocacy for women and children at various legislative levels.
