Overview
William Hare is an experienced intellectual property lawyer, focusing his practice on biotechnology, chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Throughout his career, Bill has prepared and prosecuted numerous patent applications both in the United States and internationally.
Previously, Bill served as in-house counsel to a major international pharmaceutical corporation, managing their IP-profile, providing litigation support and conducting due diligence for his company's potential acquisitions. This experience gives him unique insight into the needs of large corporations and the vitality of communication between in-house and private counsel.
Prior to his legal career, Bill was an engineer at a major medical technology company. He is a graduate of Clemson University, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Houston. He is also a frequent panelist in World Intellectual Property Organization seminars.
