Overview

Bisma Muhammed is an associate of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. and a member of the firm's Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Department.  

Bisma counsels pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies and healthcare providers companies on a variety of compliance-related issues, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, FDA promotional regulations, transparency and aggregate spend, and industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.

Prior to joining the Firm, Bisma was an associate with two different regional firms and previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas W. Sumners, Jr. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.  While attending Rutgers School of Law, Bisma was the Editor-in Chief of the Business Law Review.  Additionally, she was active in the Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic, the Honorable Morris Stern Pro Bono Bankruptcy Project, and the Minority Student Program. She received a certificate in Corporate and Business Law from the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance. Bisma is fluent in Urdu/Hindi.
