Porzio Welcomes Bisma Muhammed to its Life Sciences Team

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. welcomes new associate, Bisma Muhammed, to the firm's Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Department.  She is also a Compliance Associate with the firm’s subsidiary, Porzio Life Sciences, LLC.

Ms. Muhammed utilizes her experience by counseling pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies and healthcare providers companies on a variety of compliance-related issues, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, FDA promotional regulations, transparency and aggregate spend, and industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.  Prior to joining the Firm, she was an associate with two different regional firms and previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas W. Sumners, Jr. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. 

Ms. Muhammed received a certificate in Corporate and Business Law from the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance. While attending Rutgers School of Law, she was the Editor-in Chief of the Business Law Review. Ms. Muhammed is also fluent in Urdu/Hindi.
