Porzio, Bromberg & Newman Hires Wilmington Attorney as First Delaware Managing Principal

This week marks the opening of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman’s first office in Delaware, led by an attorney who said joining the firm has reconnected her to her legal roots.

Cheryl A. Santaniello, who began her career nearly 30 years ago as a bankruptcy attorney in New Jersey, will continue her commercial lending and real estate practice while working to expand Porzio’s bankruptcy practice into Delaware.

“It’s been in (Porzio’s) business plan, for a good seven or eight years now, to expand into Delaware, and they never quite had the right fit. Coincidentally, with the timing of the pandemic, I connected with them, and it was a great fit, culturally and background-wise,” Santaniello said Tuesday.
