Porzio Presents Details on Feasibility Study Unifying Salem County School Districts
The Salem County Board of Commissioners hired Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, PC to conduct a feasibility study of a unified school district's educational and financial benefits. On January 31 and February 1, 2022, Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr. and Kerri A. Wright of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman presented the results at a well-attended meeting at Salem County Community College. The study concluded that creating a new countywide PK-12 regional school district would "have clear educational benefits to the students of all communities" and savings of nearly $7 million annually. The law firm has been involved in every major state school district reconfiguration over the last 20 years.
