Christopher P. Mazza, counsel in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice, has been appointed as Board Member of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation (NJBLF). Mazza additionally serves on the Programs Committee, where he advances the Foundation's initiatives, including providing emergency financial assistance to economically deprived communities and grants to student interns at local law schools.

Mazza’s role on the Board reflects his deep commitment to the bankruptcy community and his dedication to the NJBLF's mission. In his legal practice, Mazza focuses on all areas of bankruptcy and restructuring, representing a diverse array of clients, including commercial debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, commercial landlords, and other parties of interest in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings. His extensive experience spans various industries, particularly major retailers, pharmaceutical companies, and the transportation sector.

As a member of the Board, Mazza will continue to support the NJBLF’s mission of aiding those in need and promoting financial literacy among New Jersey’s youth. His leadership and experience will further strengthen the Foundation’s efforts to provide essential support to individuals and families facing financial challenges.

The NJBLF is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals facing financial hardship. Funded entirely by private donations, the NJBLF provides emergency financial assistance to prevent homelessness, maintain essential utilities, and address other urgent needs. To break the cycle of financial distress, the foundation also implements a Financial Literacy Project, sending attorneys into schools to teach students essential money management skills.
