Daniel S. Makoski Elected President of Greater Middlesex Somerset Estate Planning Council

Daniel S. Makoski, counsel in the firm’s Wealth Preservation Group, has been elected President of the Greater Middlesex Somerset Estate Planning Council. Makoski, who previously served as a trustee with the council, brings extensive experience in tax planning, tax controversy, transactional business matters, wills, trusts, and estate planning. His experience includes advising clients on personal income tax strategies, negotiating with tax authorities, representing clients in the U.S. Tax Court, and drafting comprehensive estate plans.

Affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC), the Greater Middlesex Somerset Estate Planning Council offers continuing education opportunities with estate planning professionals. 

Makoski’s term as president is effective from July 1, 2024, until June 30, 2026, during which he will lead efforts to promote excellence in estate planning practices and provide educational opportunities for members and the community.
