David Disler Named a 2026 NJBIZ Forty Under 40 Honoree

David Disler, a principal in the firm's Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Education and Employment Team, has been named a 2026 NJBIZ Forty Under 40 Honoree. The annual award recognizes emerging leaders who are helping shape New Jersey's business and professional landscape through their career achievements, community involvement, and leadership.

Disler is recognized for his accomplishments as a trusted advisor to boards of education, public entities, employers, and businesses throughout New Jersey, as well as his commitment to advancing the legal profession and serving the communities in which he works. Earlier this year, he was promoted to Principal at Porzio, reflecting a career defined by leadership, client service, and meaningful contributions to New Jersey's legal and educational communities.

Throughout his career, Disler has contributed to several significant legal matters with statewide impact. His work has included cases addressing public employee health benefit contributions, Daniel's Law protections for judges and law enforcement officers, and other issues affecting public institutions and employers across New Jersey. Several of these matters ultimately reached the New Jersey Supreme Court, helping establish legal precedent and shape policies that continue to influence public entities, employees, and communities throughout the state.

Beyond his legal practice, Disler is actively involved in professional and community organizations. He serves as Vice President and a member of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Association of School Attorneys, helping support the attorneys who represent New Jersey's public school districts. He has also dedicated years of service as Morris County Co-Coordinator of the Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition, helping students gain firsthand exposure to the legal profession and judicial system. In addition, Disler is a frequent speaker and trainer for organizations including the New Jersey School Boards Association, the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, and the Northeast Spa & Pool Association, where he provides practical guidance on topics such as artificial intelligence, employment law, governance, and compliance.

The NJBIZ Forty Under 40 program honors professionals under the age of 40 who are making a lasting impact through leadership, innovation, and service. The 2026 honorees will be recognized during an in-person breakfast awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at The Marigold in Somerset, New Jersey.
