Their advancement reflects our firm’s dedication to nurturing talent and empowering leaders who make a lasting difference."
Rahil Darbar is a key member of Porzio’s Wealth Preservation Group, representing clients in complex probate litigation and fiduciary disputes, including challenges to wills based on undue influence, lack of capacity, or improper execution; contested guardianship proceedings; fiduciary removal actions; and trust and estate accountings. He also assists clients that are in crisis and need immediate and emergent relief through litigation. Known for his practical, cost-effective approach, Rahil has conducted both bench and jury trials with favorable results for the Firm’s clients. Rahil’s experience with probate litigation gives him a unique and advantageous perspective in planning for the Firm’s individual and business clients. He maintains strong ties to the South Asian community and is the VP of Programming for the South Asian Bar Association of North America, Past President of the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey and Co-Chair of its Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee.
Christopher Mazza plays a vital role in Porzio’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Department, representing Chapter 11 Debtors, Creditors Committees, asset purchasers, as well as the myriad of other stakeholders requiring assistance in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Beyond his bankruptcy practice, Chris brings experience in patent prosecution as well as intellectual property litigation, on the one hand, and in major tort litigation, on the other—areas not commonly associated with bankruptcy attorneys. Chris is heavily involved in charitable and community work, including representing victims of domestic violence as a volunteer attorney for the Battered Women Legal Advocacy Project and serving as co-coordinator of the Morris County High School Mock Trial Competition for the past six years. Chris sits on the Millennial Advisory Board of Columbia Bank, the Board of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation, and is active in numerous other legal and industry organizations.
