Porzio, Bromberg & Newman Earns Recertification to Leading Global Information Security Standard
Porzio, Bromberg & Newman has earned recertification to the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, reinforcing the firm’s ongoing commitment to information security, responsible data management and technology-driven innovation in the delivery of legal services.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is a globally recognized standard for information security management systems, with a focus on protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Maintaining certification requires organizations to continually evaluate and improve their information security practices to address evolving technology, security risks and operational needs.
For Porzio, recertification reflects an ongoing investment in the systems, processes and safeguards that support both the firm and its clients. As technology continues to transform how legal services are delivered, the firm remains focused on adopting innovative solutions while maintaining rigorous standards for protecting the information entrusted to it.
“A secure and resilient technology environment is essential to how we operate and serve our clients,” said Mark Allen, Chief Technology Officer. “Recertification validates the work our team does every day to continually strengthen that environment. As technology advances, we’re focused on moving forward thoughtfully, embracing opportunities to improve how we work while keeping security at the center of every decision.”
The recertification followed a comprehensive review of Porzio’s information security management system and data protection practices to confirm continued alignment with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The process included internal and external assessments and was audited by MSECB Management Systems, Inc.
The recertification builds on Porzio’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its technology infrastructure and information security practices as the firm continues to evolve how it delivers legal services.
