Porzio Welcomes 2024 Summer Associate Class
Porzio, Bromberg & Newman welcomes five law students to its 2024 summer associate program. Throughout the eight-week program, these second and third-year law students will collaborate with Porzio’s principals, counsel, and associates to gain hands-on training, emphasizing practical experience and legal writing.
Porzio’s class of 2024 summer associates are as follows:
Stuart Backer re-joins the summer associate program as a rising third-year law student at Rutgers Law School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Delaware. He interned this past spring for the Honorable Richard T. Sules, J.S.C.
Perle Desir is a rising third-year law student at Rutgers Law School where she is staff editor on the International Law & Human Rights Clinic and a member of the Student Bar Association. Perle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Psychology from Seton Hall University. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Jose R. Almonte, U.S.M.J., and with HSBC Bank U.S. headquarters. Before law school, Perle was a Relationship Manager and a Lending Specialist at Bank of America.
William "Billy" Grabas is a rising third-year law student at Seton Hall Law School where he serves as associate editor on the Seton Hall Law Review. Billy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government - Economics from the University of Virginia. He interned for both the Honorable Esther Salas, U.S.D.J., and the Honorable Robert J. Mega, P.J., Ch.
James Scaglione is a rising third-year law student at Penn State Dickinson Law School, where he is an associate member of the Law Review and a basic tax preparer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) clinic. He attended Western Governors University, where he earned a B.A. In Business Management.
Devansh Sheth is a rising second-year student from Rutgers Law School where he is a volunteer for Street Law and a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Devansh earned a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science - Biology with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of New Haven. Before law school, Devansh interned with the Morris County Sherriff's Office and Cardile Law.
