I. Richard Ploss Joins Porzio as Counsel in the Firm's Trusts and Estates Department

I. Richard Ploss has joined Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. as Counsel and a member of the firm's Trusts and Estates Department.  Mr. Ploss concentrates his practice primarily on estate planning for high net worth individuals and their businesses, estate administration, probate litigation and fiduciary income taxation in New Jersey and throughout the East Coast. He has extensive experience advising individual clients in the areas of wealth transfer planning and the preparation of estate planning documents.

Prior to joining Porzio, Mr. Ploss maintained solo law practices in Portland, Maine and Bedminster, New Jersey.  He served as Partner and Chairman of the Preti Flaherty Beliveau & Pachios, LLP (Portland, ME) Trusts & Estates Practice Group until 2014.

Mr. Ploss is also a highly-regarded trusts and estates speaker, currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maine School of Law and recently holding professor positions at Boston University, Fordham University, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Georgetown University.
