Porzio Promotes Noah C. Goldstein, Caitlin M. Nolan, Raquel R. Rivera and Sara R. Simon to CounselĀ
Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. ("Porzio") is pleased to announce the promotions of Noah C. Goldstein, Caitlin M. Nolan, Raquel R. Rivera and Sara R. Simon to counsel.
Noah Goldstein joined the firm’s Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Group in July 2020. Noah counsels pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies on legal and healthcare compliance matters related to the development, launch and commercialization of their products and the build, implementation and assessment of their compliance programs. Before joining the firm, Noah worked in the compliance department at an academic medical center in Boston, MA, and previously worked in private practice as a litigation attorney. Noah received his J.D. from New England Law in Boston and his B.A. from Lafayette College in Easton, PA. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
Caitlin Nolan joined the firm last January as a member of the Litigation Group. Formerly a trial lawyer at the New York County District Attorney's Office, Caitlin has first-chaired more than 20 cases to verdict and presented over 200 cases to the grand jury. She has brought these investigative and trial skills to Porzio, handling contract disputes, intellectual property litigation, criminal defense, personal injury cases and more. Caitlin received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from Boston College. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
Raquel R. Rivera has been a member of the Litigation Practice Group since she joined the firm in June 2020. Before Porzio, Raquel spent four and a half years as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, where she tried homicide, gun, narcotics, robbery, and stalking offenses to verdict. Raquel has made a smooth transition from the public sector to private practice, leveraging her trial experience to represent white-collar and employment defense clients in complex litigation and defend largescale entities in products and premises liability matters. Raquel received her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law – Newark and her B.A. from New York University. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
Sara Simon has been a valued contributor to the firm’s Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Group since joining Porzio in October 2019. At Porzio, Sara specializes in counseling pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies on compliance-related matters. She is fluent in state and federal regulations, including anti-kickback and anti-referral laws and state drug pricing reporting legal requirements. Prior to joining, Sara served as the Director of the U.S. Healthcare Compliance Certificate Program, Center for Health & Pharmaceutical Law & Policy at Seton Hall University School of Law and worked in private practice as outside counsel to hospitals and providers. Sara received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
