Receptionist

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. is a highly-respected, well-established and expanding law firm with two subsidiary companies and offices in DE, FL, MA, NJ, NY, PA, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are seeking a skilled, highly organized, full-time Receptionist for our New York City office. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Essential Functions

  • Answer, screen, and direct calls.
  • Greet and direct visitors.
  • Receive, sort, distribute mail and deliveries. 
  • Coordinate office meetings, including setting up food and beverages, ordering catering, securing conference rooms, and registering guests with security.
  • Oversee office supply inventory and order supplies.
    Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and service.
  • Enter vendor invoices into accounts payable software.
  • Conduct Firm conflict checks and open client matters.
  • Other administrative and clerical support as needed.

Education, Experience & Skills Required

  • High school diploma.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in computers/computer software/technology, generally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and organizations skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
