Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr. and William A. Krais Appointed to the New Jersey State Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers

Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr., Managing Principal of the firm, and William A. Krais, Chair of the firm’s Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Group, have been appointed to the New Jersey State Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) for the 2025–2026 term. Their appointments begin at the conclusion of the 2025 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. (October 9–12, 2025) and continues through the 2026 Annual Meeting in New York City (October 22-26, 2026).

Both Gagliardi and Krais have been Fellows of the ACTL since 2023, an honor extended to the most accomplished trial lawyers in North America and limited to no more than one percent of the lawyer population in any state or province. Their selection to the State Committee reflects their exceptional trial experience, professionalism, and dedication to advancing the practice of law.

The ACTL’s State Committees play a vital role in nominating new Fellows and coordinating local outreach. The 62 State and Province Committees, alongside the 40 General Committees, form the backbone of the College’s work in promoting high standards in trial practice, ethics, and the administration of justice.

Gagliardi and Krais’s appointment to the State Committee underscores their continued dedication to the legal profession and to the values of the College.
