Porzio, Bromberg & Newman Achieves Mansfield Certification for the Second Consecutive Year, Renewing Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
Porzio, Bromberg & Newman is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved Mansfield Certification for the second consecutive year and has renewed its commitment to the certification process for the 2024-2025 program. Created by the Diversity Lab, the Mansfield program is a year-long, structured certification process designed to ensure that all talent within the firm has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership roles.
Joining a growing community of more than 360 certified firms, Porzio continues to prioritize inclusivity as a core value. The Mansfield Certification requires that at least 30% of candidates considered for leadership positions come from underrepresented groups, including women, lawyers of color, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities. This initiative promotes transparency and ensures that opportunities for advancement are accessible to all, thereby leveling the playing field.

The Mansfield Rule is named after Arabella Mansfield, the first woman admitted to practice law in the United States, and it was created by Diversity Lab to increase the representation of diverse lawyers in leadership positions. Porzio’s ongoing participation in the Mansfield Certification process reinforces its long-standing commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of its operations.
