William Krais and Kaitlin Hackett Named 2026 NJBIZ Leaders in Law Honorees
William Krais, Principal and Chair of Porzio’s Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Group, and Kaitlin Hackett, Associate in the firm’s Wealth Preservation Group, have been named 2026 NJBIZ Leaders in Law honorees. Krais was selected in the Personal Injury category, and Hackett was recognized as a Rising Star for her emerging leadership and early‑career achievements in the New Jersey legal community.
Krais is regarded as a leading civil trial attorney in New Jersey. With more than 35 years of experience, he has achieved significant results for clients in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and general negligence cases. He is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a civil trial attorney, co-chairs the Morris County Bar Association Civil Practice Committee, is a trustee of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Northern New Jersey chapter, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the legal profession’s most prestigious honors.
