Lisa Murtha Bromberg

Principal

Overview

Lisa Bromberg represents clients in the sale and purchase of contaminated properties as well as all areas of environmental due diligence, permitting and regulatory compliance. Frequently called upon by major law firms for national and international transactions, she helps navigate New Jersey's complex environmental laws to close transactions that might otherwise be delayed relating to compliance with the Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) as well as A-901 solid and hazardous waste licensing pre-closing obligations. Her experience covers a wide range of environmental issues, including state pre-closing property transfer requirements, cost recovery litigation, hazardous waste permitting, Brownfields development and redevelopment, and energy-related matters. Lisa also assists clients with environmental audits, A-901 and CPCN licensing, and managing the public relations aspects of environmental law. She leverages this experience to help companies develop strong permitting records and maintain compliance with evolving environmental laws and regulations including statutes requiring the use of recycled content affecting a vast array of manufacturers and retailers.

In addition to her environmental work, Lisa has developed significant experience in renewable energy. She helps clients negotiate power purchase agreements, optimize financial and tax incentives, and address challenges related to renewable energy system installation. By forming strategic alliances, she provides clients with the necessary resources to complete successful renewable energy projects.
